Syphonic System

Siphonic Drainage

Siphonic Strainers are connected to the collection line assembled with zero slope and connected to the infrastructure system with less number of stormwater columns compared to conventional drainage system.

Thanks to the special filters and hydraulic calculations used, the siphonic effect is created and the system is operated with 100% filling capacity. Thus, smaller pipe diameters are used than conventional drainage system. Considering the cost of infrastructure, it provides more economical solutions especially in large roof areas and hollowed facilities. Pipes are laid horizontally with zero slope. Thus, in private buildings (congress halls, airports, shopping malls and large roof area is a more useful solution.) Calculations should be made using a certified computer program and rainfall data obtained from the General Directorate of Meteorology should be used for the relevant location.
